I've always wondered why would anyone play point&click adventure on consoles but ok.
Not sure about the console version but this game is extremely buggy on Windows. Also, if you played the original, you'll be in for a bad surprise, I'd check the reviews before getting it.
I downloaded this and Syberia 2 for the Switch for $2 to $5 each years ago. It has charm for a point-and-click adventure but I couldn't fathom paying 30 dollars for just the first game.

I agree with this sentiment, can't imagine why someone would want to use a thumbstick or trackpad for this. Point & click is one of my favorite game styles but it's made for mouse & keyboard.
I was really looking forward to this game, having played the original back when it released. But when I saw the trailers, and how the remastered Kate doesn't really look much like the original at all, and the environments have a brown tinge to them, draining the original's color palette, I was disheartened. Even small touches like the toy bell ringer's reflection, at the hotel is missing in the remaster! It's a real shame.
