Community Reviews
The Ninja Luxe Café Pro Series is a versatile espresso and coffee machine that stands out for built in tamping, hot water for Americanos, and a built in grinder with hands free frothing. The newer features make prep faster and less messy, and the machine can turn out a wide range of drinks, including strong coffee and espresso based drinks. Cleanup is easy, and the single batch brew gets praise for taste. The main caveat is that it does not replace a true drip coffee maker, and the milk temperature and shot guidance are not always perfect. A good fit if you want an all in one setup and can live with some tradeoffs.
Common Questions (5)
The in-store Costco version is reported to include a single-shot basket and single-shot option, while the online ES601C version is different. The ES701 discussion also notes that shot output and guidance can be hit or miss, so users may need to adjust grind settings manually.
Yes. The ES701 adds an integrated hot water function, which is useful for Americanos and avoids keeping a kettle on the counter. That feature is one of the main reasons to choose it over the older 601.
The built-in tamper is faster and less messy, but it is mainly a convenience upgrade rather than a must-have. If you already have a kettle and do not need hot water, the price jump over the 601 may not be worth it.
No. Its regular coffee mode is only a drip-like approximation, and it takes time to make each drink, so it will not replace a full morning pot or jug of drip coffee.
SharkNinja has offered stackable discounts, including a 10% new-customer code and a 20% RetailMeNot coupon, which can cut the price substantially. One purchase came out to $457.19 before tax after stacking offers.

believe this new one else that comes with a one shot
process. The other one is either two shots or four shots. what I do is put too mini shot glasses to create two cups of one shot each Because the portal filter splits the shots
barista assist. there's some negative reviews about this. it's a hit and miss. sometimes the grind suggestion is off and you have the manually choose a different option. They probably made it even better on the new version. to me that would be worth it since the whole point of this machine is having you guide you to do the correct shot. and the other one has problems with that
I've weighed the results and it is not perfect each time. It doesn't create a perfect shots. I think the old one does have a problem but a lot of people put sugar in it or they cannot tell the difference

BTW Amazon has some nice covers for the top like this: Replacement Top Mat for Ninja Luxe Espresso Coffee Machine ES601 & ES701, Waterproof Heat-Resistant, Accessories for Ninja Luxe Cafe(1 Pcs) https://a.co/d/6ydgaoW
Ninja itself hasn't discounted the machine quite yet on their site.

After browsing to it (while logged in), they even sent me a stackable 10% code. I think I'm still going to wait though.
