Wow, an absolute steal at this price.
The most basic comparison:
Sony XM series has better sound fidelity.
Bose QC Ultra has better noise cancelling and comfort.
How I use them:
Sony - While working at my desk
Bose - Yard work and flights.
B&W PX8 (incredible sound) - Brought out only when I really want to 'listen' to music.

I have gotten some practically new things at "Fair" because they aren't allowed to mark stuff Excellent if it's missing box, paper, or even the charging cable. Obviously YMMV. It's usually stuff like tv's and larger items that have horror stories.

Seems like it all depends on the stock in your area. There weren't any Fair ones available in my city, but I got an Open Box-Good for 146.99.

I kept monitoring this over last 2 days and saw the "Excellent" condition come back in stock. I was able to get it for $154.99 .. Its Out of stock again but as someone stated it keeps coming back in stock so I suggest keep checking.
