1. If you're currently active, it'll just add 12 credits right away, no extension. If you're not active, it'll add 12 months.
2. No, gift cards cannot be used to paid for memberships.
How is $8.83 per movie a deal when the most expensive ticket is $9. We buy gift cards from Costco at 20% off and go when the price is $5.25 which makes the ticket cost $4.20. I was looking for another way to bring the price down.

I have an ongoing monthly Cinemark Movie Club subscription that would renew on 30 Nov.
Qn 1: If I buy and apply this to my account NOW, (1) will it extend my subscription by 12 months, so the monthly charge would automatically pause until next year? (2) will I get 12 credits instantly or 1 every month?
Qn 2: Also, since I've been seeing conflicting posts about being able to use Giftcards (bought from Costco) for Buying this gift membership, has anyone been able to do it? When I tried to purchase the gift membership, I only see credit card as payment options.

Does that mean it is better let the membership expire and then use this deal? I don't want 12 extra credit when I already have 4 sitting there.
Also what happens to existing credits if you cancel your membership

According to the terms: If you let it expire or cancel, you have 6 months (from when membership ends) to use all credits or it';ll disappear

when u go on the weekend, each ticket can go up to $17.50 per ticket. And that is the base price. If u see premium format like HDX, price is $21. This movie credit ($8.79 each) covers the entire $17.50 and u only pay the upcharge fee of $3.50. Which in the end only costs $12.29 instead of $21.
I just sent this to myself as a new member. When I go to accept, I get an error that the promo code does not work and it's asks for my cc info to checkout? I also don't see any promo code fields. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Is this for unlimited visits each month or only for once a month to see a free movie?
No, they are not giving you unlimited movies for $8 a month. You'd need to look into Regal's plan ($20/mon for unlimited) or AMC's plan ($20/month for 4 movies a weeks).
You get one ticket a month, no online fees, additional tickets at a discounted price, and 20% off concessions.
If you buy 12 or more movie tickets a year and go to Cinemark regularly, especially if you have a teenagers who will scarf down an XL popcorn and the free refill, it's a good deal. If you don't, it's probably not for you. If you stack it with the Cinemark gift cards you get can from Costco and Sam's for 20% off the face value and use those for the concessions and any extra tickets, it's even better.
