Picked this up last January. Enormous and Gorgeous. Absolutely Zero regrets. Dont think you'll get a better price on this model, if you're thinking about it, I highly recommend.

Just beware that you guys may get a TV that has a buzzing issue. It started in the 2024 models and has continued in the 2025 models:

I got the 98" QM7K from bestbuy and it does not have this issue, or any other issue that I'm aware. Just adding my own personal experience

I ordered the 98" TCL QM8K last week for delivery and installation at $2,999 last week which puts the price difference at $1000 from the QM7K. I didn't mind a $500 difference, but I don't think there is $1000 worth of difference. What are the chances of the QM8K getting a similar $500 reduction in price so I can price match? Should I swap to the QM7K for the cost savings?
Look at the comparison reviews but for me the QM7K is amazing.

a local store has excellent open box for 1800... very tempting but what if the price drops to 1800 for BF or something? I guess there's no way to price match an open box item?

Got the same question. Extremely hard to decide between the QM7K vs U7 or QM8K vs U8. My budget is $2500 for 100" TV. Any help is appreciated.
This one worked for me: VIVO 60 to 120 inch Large Screen Heavy Duty TV Wall Mount for LCD LED Flat and Curved Screens, Articulating Swivel Mount, Max VESA 900x600mm, Black, MOUNT-VW120MRated at 265#

Any idea how the picture quality compares to a Sony X91J?
I replaced my Sony with this one after reading many reviews. I can say the picture is amazing. The 2500 local dimming zones make it close to OLED in my opinion.

I bought the 98" QM7k in October from bestbuy and had them install a wallmount from monoprice and mount it for free. The box is huge and heavy, so definitely worth buying from somewhere that will install for free and clean up packaging. They did a good job fwiw. I absolutely love this TV. I debated between this, the qm8k, and the hisense equivalents. If you want my advice, just get this and don't look back. 2k for a tv of this quality is almost unbelievable. The only main benefit of the QM8k is it's brighter, but the QM7k at max is already too bright in many instances in a dark room. I can't imagine needing anything brighter. I've had a few people comment and think it is an OLED. Local dimming is fantastic. If it fits in your house, just get it.
"If it fits in your house"I got this for my basement after I fell in love with it at Best Buy (got it at Amazon for $1798).I have a split stair case & it was a quarter inch from making it around the landing.I really wanted it in the basement so I disassembled the stairs & dropped it down through them.

Thanks... Ended up getting BB to price match NFM for just a bit more (1830). Worth it to me with the delivery+install, plus I don't have prime anymore and didn't feel like reactivating haha.

what wall mount would be good for this tv?
I got the Sanus VXT7B2 for mine, mounted across 3-studs. Very adjustable.

This tv has the hole pattern justified near the bottom of the TV, so keep that in mind. The holes begin about 3" from the bottom of the TV!
