Picked this up last January. Enormous and Gorgeous. Absolutely Zero regrets. Dont think you'll get a better price on this model, if you're thinking about it, I highly recommend.

$450 for the extended warranty worth it?
Same question..I ordered from BB w/o the extended warranty....but need to decide soon whether or not to buy one. From what I have researched thus far, it appears it is necessary.

Got it price matched no problem. Although the customer rep tried to give me the tv for the same price it's listed at Best Buy. I had to tell them to put it in the cart to get the lower price.
Same experience for me as well. They were like, yeah, we are "happy" to price match to $1997!! LOL!!! I was like Duh, add it to the cart first.

Wow - THAT is an expensive warranty.
To be worthwhile, you'd either need a 25% failure rate on that TV, or you'd be very willing to spend money to guard against a warrantied problem.
Any chance one can buy with a CC that doubles warranty duration?

I used the Cit Double cash back card which adds 2 years of extended warranty coverage on top of any manufacturer and/or 3rd party coverage. I'm looking at either AllState ($229) or Asurion ($182) 4 year plans. That would give me 1 year manufacturer, 4-1=3 years 3rd party then 2 years credit card, so 6 years total.

Everyone has their own opinion but paying 25% for an extended warranty just seems insane. Didn't get an extra warranty on mine. There is nothing I've seen that indicates a higher failure rate than any other average TV. At 25%, just buy a new tv if it fails in a few years

I bought mine through Amazon instead of BB because Amazon's 4 year warranty (4 total years from purchase date) was only $182.99.

Here is a link to it for sale on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DVWW6...=UTF8&th=1

This one worked for me: VIVO 60 to 120 inch Large Screen Heavy Duty TV Wall Mount for LCD LED Flat and Curved Screens, Articulating Swivel Mount, Max VESA 900x600mm, Black, MOUNT-VW120MRated at 265#
Did the Vivo MOUNT-VW120M hold up fine when extending the arms out?

Presuming by NFM people are referring to Nebraska Furniture Mart, all I'm seeing there is the 6 and 8 model not the deal on a 7. Am I missing something?
Thanks!

Does Amazon provide free wall mounting? and, did they price match the NFM price?

Yes, and they are still available - add it to the cart to see the reduction.

I hear you; did the same but still wondering if I need to buy their warranty. Yeah, 25% is insane. Maybe use that money to buy bitcoin or something that will double up in a few years to cover the cost of replacement?? LOL!!!

I got BB to price match NFM today, Thursday, 11/21, even though it's price matching doesn't apply as of today through Cyber Monday.

I went to a local BB late tonight because I'd gone there to look at TVs before, and there was a really solid sales guy who I chatted with, and I told him that I'd come back and buy from him when I was ready (they don't get commission but it helps their KPIs). So, I went back tonight and he wasn't working, but I randomly ran into the store manager and told him I wanted to have that sales guy get credit for the sale, and he said he'd ring me up and do that.

I thought I was screwed since the store manager would know their policy, but he agreed to price match, and I got it for $1839. Helping out the sales guy worked out great, lol.

Wonder why Amazon took away the 4 year protection on the 98". The other sizes still have it.

This is probably because Asurion, the backend insurer, does not really cover any tv that is larger than 85 inches at that low price. Amazon may have made a mistake for previous sales and now corrected it.
