I think because they are "health" devices, it's frowned upon and or illegal? idk. I just know most publically traded online sales sites don't allow those things. Would not expect lame stop to do so either.

If the goal is to get credit which is part of the joke being that GS has a rep of giving pennies, why not bring in cake or something the employees will enjoy? Food is conspicuously absent from the list unless I'm missing something

I wouldn't eat food from a rando stranger. But then again, I just moved and the mail lady was always joking about me making her some bbq after she saw my herd of cookers. So one day I set her up a nice lunch of ribs. At least she knows where I live if something went bad, though...
