"Waterproof" At this price? I doubt it. Anyone have experience with these?

Seems like many of the reviews say they are indeed waterproof, but heavy and a little uncomfortable

I got these a few weeks ago. I wore them on an early morning with a bunch of dew on the ground and didn't have any issues with moisture.

With that being said, they weren't too comfortable and were relatively heavy. The weight/price is definitely where it turns into personal preference of the deal. I'm not planning on returning them but I'm hoping they break in better than the experience in the first couple of uses.

How is sizing?
I have a different style of Ozark Trail hikers that is at least a half-size big

I don't know what more you could ask for $17 I bought one pair and then 6 more after that I'm all set for the remainder of my life on shoes. I did upsize 1/2 size from usual I live in northeast and have been waterproof in snow.

Bought in store last month for $7. They are on the heavy side and are not the most comfortable. Good for short trips outside or when not standing for long periods of time. Sizing was accurate for me.

heavy and chunky, of course waterproof. I have one of them which I bought for snow cleaning.

I have been wearing these off and on for a couple weeks and I do think they are on the heavy side but to terrible.

I do find them comfortable and I have very sensitive feet.

They run true to size.

What is nice is they have a big toe box.

I gave these a proper workout today on a rainy day...

  1. ) They squeak loudly on hard floors when wet
  2. ) The laces came untied a few times -- maybe they will break in
  3. ) They seem particularly slippery on wet painted surfaces (e.g., crosswalks and curbs) and metal coverings

All in all, they seem fine to keep your feet dry on the occasional rainy day when you have to be out and about.

Grabbed a pair during the last deal, they went back. Not waterproof, very uncomfortable. The bottoms are pretty much hard plastic. You hear and feel every step.

Sadly Walmart got rid of all their somewhat ok boot shoes and I have no idea why. The George ones were my favorite. I bought two pairs of there weeks ago. Heavy as hell. I'll use for Ice fishing and maybe clearing driveway but too heavy for anything else
