For those unaware, you will be able to get the newest Sonos Era 100's for only $320 at Costco in a few days on Nov 20th (Thurs). These are the upgraded version of the One SL. Better speakers, brand new, have Bluetooth and ability to connect a turntable for just $120 more than a pair of these refurbished One SL's.

This is still a great speaker. I love all of my Sonos gear (other than the recent mishap w/the app). Everything is working great again now.

FYI: You can't pair this via bluetooth, and depending on the app, you can't cast to it.

For those who are comfortable with FB marketplace, these can be found for cheaper. Many sellers are willing to demo the speakers too.

Helped a coworker pickup a pair of Ones for $100 a few months back.

Bought 2 of these last time on sale at Meh.com, set them up as a stereo pair in my home office, could not be happier. Very full sound, ease of use from all of my computers and IOS devices is what makes them so great, can control volume and selections from any device in my house. You need to experience it to fully appreciate, My 2 cents.

BTW, I just bought 2 more!

uses the modern S2 app. but AI (fwiw) says there's at least one hardware version (printed on bottom of speaker) that requires the S1 app. I couldnt find anything official saying that.

Don't breath too hard when near it. Mine stopped working and I had to research to find that it requires the Google "Device Utility app" to bring back to life.
Unfortunately, mine was deader than dead and even that utility couldn't help.

As a long time user of Sonos products I strongly recommend NOT purchasing due to the worse APP on this planet. Despite promises and apology from the CEO on fixes and improvements. Look elsewhere !

These specific One SL speakers require a power source. There are portable Sonos speaker options like the Move and Roam speakers.

Yeah. I agree with this. I loved Sonos so much. I have them all over my house, but every time they try to fix their app it gets so much worse.

Im not happy with Sonos support. I'd caution buying refurbished. Ive been having issues with my refurbished era 100s and so far support has only offered "unpair and repair" as a solution. Chat support twice and Phone support once.
