I was about to jump on this until I read the reviews. Kinda dangerous when they catch fire / explode.

1600 mAh (milliamp-hours). Not the same as 2400 mWh (milliwatt-hours). 1600 mAh x 1.5 volts = 2400 mWh

Says "2400mWh" on the battery. It says both "2400mWh" and "1600mWh" in the Amazon description. I'll assume "2400mWh".

Going to give these a shot. I have a smart door lock that won't work with regular rechargeables due to the voltage being too low.

Exactly my plan! Even fully charged Eneloops won't power the lock.

All of the reviews showing exploding batteries are for the yellow version with the USB-C port in the side. This deal is for the black version with the port in the top.

The only negative reviews for the black version say that they might be hit or miss as far as quality control goes and that people say that they might not hold a charge for very long.

One is mAh and the other is mWh.
1600ma x 1.5v x 1h = 2400mWh.

USB chargeable lithium batteries tend list mWh and must be converted. OP listed the more common mAh conversion.

These are not NiMH cells. They will burn up a charger if you put them in.

These lithium cells have their own use cases.

I'm just imagining the look on the fire marshals face when it's explained that these has the black usb-c port in the top
