I don't know what world you live in, but 6 hours is good for a speaker at 80% especially with this kind of sound quality. My 2 gets like 2 hrs max

This speaker's battery life is so bad. Only last 6-8 hrs. Mine only gets about 6 hrs at 80% volume. If you don't mine the short battery life, then this is a great price.

We have these in our operating rooms. Definitely worth $100. I don't believe they were ever $500. Sounds nice with decent bass for the size.

MY HK onyx 7 lasted less than 2 years before dying. I bought it to pair with another, and it needed to be manually paired each time. Sounded great but wouldn't buy another.

If you always have it plugged in at all times its incredible sounding for its size. ON battery its life is MAYBE 2 hrs. I use this as my main TV speaker (always plugged in and run from tv via 3.5mm cord) and its worth $100 for sure.
