Isn't this the usual price? Google Play Credits seems to be the only candy to sweeten this.

Also, how does this compare to Samsung Frame and Hisense Canvas?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a niche TV? Wouldn't the M6K be better and at a better price?

It's a competitor to the Samsung Frame series. If you don't know what that is, then this TV is not for you.

It's on par with both of them IMO. OS wise, I would easily choose it over the Samsung and its horrible Tizen OS.

Hisense has a light/motion sensor. This does not

You can set one up pretty easily via Arduino.

If anyone has an RC Willey furniture store nearby, they will PM the 5 year warranty on this TV plus give you 12 months no interest financing and an additional $50 off if it's a new credit account. If anything goes wrong with it, they will come take a look at it and replace it if necessary. No need to box it up and take it back to the store.

Out of curiosity, what would such a motion sensor do/allow?

Supposedly it would wake the TV up in art mode when people are in the room, and sleep when people are away.

Can these Frame TVs really be used as a computer monitor for everyday browsing? I'm redesigning an office and thought this would be good to hang to get more desktop space and look cool when not being used

I'd check on RTING re: the specs. For example, you will need/want Chroma 4:4:4 signals.
