AirPods Pro 3 at Staples are mainly appealing for the in store price match and the stronger noise cancellation and comfort versus AirPods Pro 2. The deal has also worked with rewards points, store coupons, and manager overrides, which can push the out of pocket cost much lower. The main catch is that the $219 price has been inconsistent, with online showing full price, some stores ringing up $249.99, and the ad appearing pulled early. Black Friday pricing and Costco bundles with AppleCare are the main alternatives, making this a useful stopgap if you can verify stock and pricing.

BestBuy stopped price matching Staples. Visited store to find out.
They matched it for me a couple days ago. YMMV.

But also now BB has them for $220 (and many other retailers) -- is this the best deal we'll get for BF?

is the noise cancelling that much better than the pro 2?
They claim it's 2x better.

AppleCare through Costco is 2 years. I buy a lot of apple products from them for this reason. You're paying the retail price or better and you get an additional year of AppleCare. At this price, I'd go with Costco.
I did go with Costco due to Apple Care and still hoping they lower price before Christmas so I can get a price difference

Seems like it's expired now. Not showing in the Ad and yesterday I went to a Staples and the sales person didn't even know it had been on sale. Since it wasn't in the weekly ad any longer, I couldn't prove it - even though I showed a screenshot of when it was. I know it's the same price on BB, but I have $39 on rewards points from Staples that I'd love to use.

When it comes to Staples, your best bet is to always ask for the store manager. At least in the case of the few Staples I've been in, their sales staff is near useless for anything more than helping you find a products location in the store. Employee turnover seems to be frequent as well.

Seems like it was pulled early, but since I had already driven to a Staples that had one in stock I tried to get them to PM BBY, which apparently also pulled the deal.

Realized they were also on sale at Target so asked them to PM that which they gave me a hard time on because it wasn't an "in store price" which makes no sense, but eventually did it.

Thought it was funny that I had to argue to get them to basically honor a deal that they had published.
