Learned this from some kind commenter on SD actually, that heather is by definition is a blend of materials. It thus often, though not always uses cotton/poly as a fabric mix.

I can confirm that heather gray XL is not 100%, rather it is 50/50 as Smiert mentioned. Purchased this during the last post.

I don't understand why some sellers do that. It's unfair to sell like that, but hanes tees are good and comfortable to wear!

I think I've only seen 100% cotton heather gray one time - it was a $50ish t-shirt from a high end brand and I'm still not sure if they had their listing accurate. Something about heather must be difficult without synthetic fabric woven in. I avoid heather colors by default to be safe.

I purchased these got some home. Ran them in the washer one time. Came out with weird wrinkles on them that will not wash out.
Very, very rough also extremely thin.
Good price for shirts, but terrible product
