Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Looks like the Apple Store website has Paypal as a payment option, and the "Pay in 4" option shows up too. Does that make Apple Store purchases automatically eligible for the cashback?
Was able to make two purchases and they both show up as pending. Couldnt get a third.

I think it's $1250 total spend across all transactions

I don't see the offer in my PayPal app but if I go to the below website I can log in, click Save Offer, and then it says Offer Saved and the button changes to Shop Now. However, it still doesn't appear in the app in Saved Offers? YMMV if it gets honored I guess. Might have to fight for it after spend.

Check your Rewards section in Paypal to see if the offer shows up there.

When you did this, did the reward show up based on the full purchase price or the 1 of 4 payment value?

What do you mean by "Credit"?

Sorry. I meant to ask: did the pending reward show up based on the invoice total or the installment amount (1 of 4 payment)?

another datapoint, two separate transactions the first earned 22500 points from $1125 in spend, the second earned only 2500 points from $350 spend

seems to confirm its capped at $250 per account, despite the confusing offer language

How are you seeing the amount of points? Mine just shows the purchase amount and a status of pending.

I tried to use my Chase Freedom Unlimited card, but for whatever reason, PayPal says it does not qualify for the Pay in 4. So I defaulted to my Discover IT card already on file and it worked. Anyone able to get their Chase credit card to work with Pay in 4? My Chase card is a new account, less than 2 months old, so that may be the issue.
