Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.
CHASE CARDS NOT ELIGIBLE

I have checked your account and see that there is a purchase with Walmart.com for $XXX.xx USD using Pay in 4 and it is completed. Please be assured you are eligible for offer and you will get the points for it. Also, I would suggest you to not make the complete payment at this moment to avoid any issue with the offer. You can make the complete payment after 14 days. |

- PerfectGift.com:
- They offer Virtual Visa Gift Cards in values from $10 up to $500.
- The website states you can "Checkout Securely – Pay with a debit or credit card." While it doesn't explicitly mention PayPal, many online checkouts that accept credit/debit cards also integrate PayPal as a payment gateway.
.- Kroger (or Kroger Family Stores Gift Card Mall):
- They sell Visa and Mastercard eGift Cards and physical cards.
- They mention instant email delivery for eGifts.
- You would need to check their checkout process to confirm if they accept PayPal, as they are a major online retailer and often have various payment options.
- Staples.com:
- They have a gift card section and list Visa and Mastercard Gift Cards in their selection.
- They list a "Shop $250-$500" category, which suggests they carry cards in the value you are looking for, such as a Visa $300 or Home Depot $500 gift card (which might be a good alternative if you plan to use it at that specific store).
- Staples is a major online retailer that typically accepts PayPal.
Important Note:When shopping at a retailer like Staples or Kroger, you may be able to use PayPal by selecting it as a payment method at the checkout screen. Even if the gift card company's site (like PerfectGift) doesn't explicitly list PayPal, if they accept major credit cards, you can sometimes link your PayPal account to be used like a debit/credit card during the checkout process.
Always check the seller's specific terms, fees, and accepted payment methods at their final checkout page before completing your purchase. Gift cards, especially higher denominations, often have an associated purchase or activation fee.
Here are a few more ......
- Giftcards.com / Gift Card Mall / The Gift Card Shop: These are some of the biggest dedicated online gift card sellers, often linked on Visa and Mastercard's own sites. A user comment in the search results specifically suggests Giftcards.com (which is run by Blackhawk Network) accepts PayPal. They are known to carry high-value Visa/Mastercard gift cards up to $500.
- Walgreens: Walgreens' online store lists Visa gift cards and states a limit of $500 per card. As a large national retailer, they typically accept PayPal during their online checkout process.
- Target / Best Buy: These major electronics and general merchandise retailers sell a variety of Visa and Mastercard gift card denominations, including higher values. While they accept PayPal for general merchandise, you will need to confirm at checkout if there are any restrictions on using PayPal specifically to purchase "open-loop" gift cards (like Visa/Mastercard), as some retailers do restrict this to prevent fraud.
A critical note about fees and PayPal:still pretty close to cb which is how I see it
redeemable for BestBuy, Walmart, eBay, instacart, ubereats, or doordash (all of which I shop at often)
