Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Trying to buy an iphone from Apple but there is no Pay in 4 or Pay monthly option from Paypal. Only an option to use my current Paypal balance. Maybe because I don't have enough in my Paypal balance? They make these "deals" entirely too weird to actually work for people who don't know exactly how to use them.

I can attest that this happened to me. If it happens to you, be sure to pay off the amount of your entire purchase from AliExpress on the card IMMEDIATELY as interest for cash advances seems charge to the account every day. There is no grace period.
Thanks for the heads-up. I checked my Chase credit card transactions, and it did charge me a $10 fee for the $16 AliExpress purchase I made through PayPal on 11/14. The transaction is listed as a 'Cash Advance". This issue seems to have started this month only. My previous month transactions says "Purchase" and no fee was charged.

Planning to buy Klipsch speakers from Crutchfield, total comes to $5800. If I split into multiple transactions and use pay later, can I get this deal of 20% off in each transaction as max spend limit for each is $1250 or so?

Sweet, had a bunch of stuff in my Rockauto cart I needed to order and got some apple gift cards from Kroger gift card mall to cover a year of apple one for my household. Almost never get a significant discount on these things, thanks!

Anyone know if there's a way to get this to work for a purchase over $1500 at Best Buy? Do they let you split it and put $1500 on the plan and the rest with another card?

Just to reiterate an earlier comment, it does look as if you're capped to $250 in rewards per account. I did two purchase (one for ~374, and another for ~1222, which should have been ~319 in rewards, and I only got $250 in pending rewards between the two of them.
Assuming you chose pay in 4, it looks to me that you'll get the rest of the rewards as you're charged every two weeks until paid up

How long until you get notified that the offer is successfully applied? I made a purchase using pay in 4 about an hour ago.

I bought LG OLED 77inch C5 from eBay for 1772$ with 400$ gift card from eBay includes tax. Then applied 1490$ for pay in 4. Worked like a charm!
PayPal reward 20% applied. It takes 90 days to credit the reward
