11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

I found the rewards by going to this link while I was signed into my PayPal account.

I saved the reward.
Then I went to home depot added a product to my cart chose PayPal... No 4 pay offer was presented. Just pay with my payment options or apply for a PayPal credit card...

I logged out of everything and back in, and it kept doing it.
I called Paypal. The rep said I will just have to wait some days.
I also added my Discover card and was able to pay with it instead of my bank. It would never show my Chase Freedom after adding it. Discover works. Enjoy!
i still have buying power left around $1000. I am thinking of what else I can buy that would be useful lol.
