Has it been 2 days since deal started? Anyone cashed out points yet? Worst will be that PayPal waits until dec 8 to clear pending status so that they can harvest all those transaction fees.
Paypal has 90 days to clear the points. They may say "ineligible" at the end of 90 days and wash their hands. This has happened to me too many times on other cashback sites. I would love to devise a scheme to receive 20% back on a quality grocery store gift card for a few grand.

Tried to add all kind of cards, Chase, Citi, Discover, keep getting error saying you cannot add the card to this plan, which is the Paypal Pay in 4.

Any idea why? How are people able to add card?
I tried every credit card BofA/chase/amex/discover and debit cards as well and nothing worked

It just showed up for me. If you have already made too many Pay in 4 purchases (usually two in a day) or exceeded your lending power (as PP decides it), you may have to wait 24hrs for it to appear as an option again.
I didn't make a purchase yet with PayPal. My first purchase with the pay in 4 payments. I'm trying to buy the Samsung Galaxy phone with Verizon service but no option to use PayPal at all.

My credit is excellent... Smilie It was simply not allowing payment types but anyways its not worth dealing with it anymore so gave up...Initially while trying when it did not accept any of the cards it defaulted to pay now and I did not realize and clicked through and ended up with Master cards from target worth $1250 which I just used to pay my utility bill as the order could not be cancelled... Frown
I am done with this deal.. All the best to everyone who was able to use it...

I opened a personal account because PayPal CS told me that if my merchant account had received any payments within the last 6 months I won't be able to use Pay in 4. It took ten minutes, if that, including linking one card and bank account. Now I have the Pay in 4 option when selecting PayPal as checkout at Walmart & BestBuy (only placed I tried it).
Thanks for confirming this.

Me too lol. I am still going to make the purchase because I need the tools but 20% off would be great and I'll order tomorrow regardless i guess
A person confirmed that if your business account had accepted any payments in the last 6 months it will not work. So personal account is the way. Now you just have to decide if $200 cash back is worth opening a personal paypal account. They guy said it takes only ten min.

Has anyone confirmed doing this multiple times and if they were able to exceed the cap (and if so, if they were using Pay Monthly or Pay in 4)? I mentioned earlier that on one order I didn't have that cap but I used Pay Monthly. I thought I saw that some people who used Pay in 4 were capped at $250 so maybe the cap doesn't apply to the Pay Monthly orders? I just did the gift certificate trick to apply to an item that is on backorder somewhere and it seems to have worked. Total amount was $860~ and I'm have $172.xx worth of points pending.

I haven't been able to successfully use Pay in 4 either way. Thinking about doing this a couple more times for some other items that I have on backorder from a couple places.
