11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

what i did was i bought best buy gift cards on cardcash using this pay in four. that got me $87 of paypal rewards. also those gift cards were 3% off on cardcash making it even sweeter.
then i paid with gift cards + paypal "pay in 4" for my items on best buy and had it so my total was around $1240s. Now i have $248 in rewards pending on top of the $87.
FYI you can use 10 gift cards at a time on best buy. I used 10 gift cards I bought off CardCash no issue.
I could get it with a smaller order same store, so some threshold limit
