Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Does anyone have any insight on an authorized charge from 11/20 that is still pending? When i clicked view order at PayPal, the web page froze, so I went back to the original web page and submitted the order. I got confirmation emails from PayPal and the merchant, but pn4 is still pending and points are pending with no amount next to it.

another datapoint, two separate transactions the first earned 22500 points from $1125 in spend, the second earned only 2500 points from $350 spend

seems to confirm its capped at $250 per account, despite the confusing offer language

Have you tried paying off the second pay later order and see if you can get the cash back working on another transaction?

My apple store order was canceled even though my first Pay with 4 order on a different site for a smaller $100 item went through and I am pre approved. Email from Apple says - "We've been unable to secure payment for your recent online order from Apple with your card provider and, as a result, your order has been canceled."

Anyone else in the same boat?

I ordered something from REI last night and it still shows pending and authorization in progress. I believe this is because REI wont charge your card until the items ship.
Not 100% sure tho

Don't be surprised if you get denied now. I tried to make a purchase. The PayPal window closed before I hit confirm and then I got two pending pay in 4, but the order was never made. Pay in 4 was removed form account. Then the pending transactions went away after a couple days and I was denied for unusual activity.
Sane thing happened to me, and this is was with stupid BestBuy. it seems it gets authorized by PayPal, and then gone. Shows pending on my card. Adding another card wont help

Is $1250 the max I can buy, or just max the 20% off will be (250)?
I have the offer on my account - Says I'm eligible for up to $2900
A Nikon camera I want is $1450. I assume if this works, I'll just pay $1200 out of pocket, right?
Also, should I unfreeze my credit?

Does this deal only apply to pay in 4 or to all pay later options. I ask bc pay in 4 is no longer available but there is a pay monthly option (which includes interest). Does the 20 percent apply to that pay later option as well?

Rewards cap for the 20% is 250. You can purchase beyond 1250 on a single purchase, but you won't get points beyond the 250.
The 20% are points, and won't be available to you until later, so you'll still have to pay the $1450 upfront. You'll get $250 back at a later date

If only there was a giant thread that contains the answers to these questions.

When the points finally do clear, is the cashback option 1:1, as in if I have 25000 points, I'll get $250 cash, or is it a lower ratio. Just trying to figure out if it'll be better to get gift cards or not.

Be careful if purchasing gift cards using this offer. The terms and conditions specifically specifies that stored value cards are not eligible for this offer. So, if PayPal do not give the cashback for some reason, you'll be stuck with a gift card since most all gift cards are nonreturnable.
This has been mentioned a dozen times in this thread. People don't read.

I just paid off my balance. There is an option to pay monthly with 0 down for 3 months but it is charging interest (I know since it's a higher price when you add the installments compared to the original price). No pay in 4 option though. What if you buy with 0 down with interest (the higher amount) and pay it right away will it still come out to be to the original amount?
They are completely different services. There is Pay-in-4 and then there is paypal credit, which is a credit card. You're confusing the two.
