Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

so if we do it once and pay it off, then are we eligible for Pay for 4 again? It seems like in my case the application is being denied

OK that makes me feel a little better then. Obviously not in any sort of hurry and I will be very happy to get a discount on something I was planning on having to pay full price for otherwise. šŸ™‚
any updates? I plan on getting using it for an apple purchase but Im always paranoid on cash backs.

Yes, after I paid off a couple Pay in 4, I had the option and used it at Walmart. The problem is that Walmart canceled my transactions, and after trying a third time, then PayPal took my Pay in 4 away due to "unusual activity".

So in MO we can't use this 20% offer at all or just can't do the pay in 4 option? I read it like we can't do it at all. Hope I'm mistaken.
Well heck, I went back and looked. I guess we can do the "Pay Monthly," just not the Pay 4. The Pay 4, though, is 0% interest and monthly "is subject to consumer credit approval and eligibility. Fixed APR is 9.99-35.99%."

Even though I have excellent credit, mine popped up as 19.99%. I couldn't find enough info to assure me I'd be able to pay it off in full right away to avoid interest fees and didn't trust Paypal nor the offer at that point so I didn't go through with the Pay Monthly.

I am confused . I am trying to work this deal on eBay - I see 2 options in Checkout - PayPal and PayPal Credit. If I select PayPal, it charges me right away, should I select PayPal Credit then? There is no PayPal in 4 option

Bought 75qn90f on Samsung EPP a bit ago for $1339 + tax. Have 20% on total of $1433 pending (28676). As long as I get the $250 I'll be happy any extra just a bonus.
