Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

So when you click the Pay Later box in the app, at the top with be a black bar with "$XXXX Pay Later spending power" in it. If there's no black box and number, you have $0 spending power.

If you just paid off the balances the night before, try again every hour to see if it appears.
I did click on the box and it shows info about the pay later info.

You are definitely not alone in that boat. As far as I can tell, there is no way to do something to get around it. Maybe you get lucky after some period of time, maybe you don't.
When I called, I was told that there's nothing anyone can do. It's controlled by the algorithm and can go away in a few hours to a few months. For me, it was hours.

why my account doesn't show the amount of points are pending? while most people telling how many pending points they see instantly.
Mine had the same issue, only once the first payment posted did it change to how many actual points it will be pending.

No. Pay in 4 disappeared and never returned. It's been a few days.

I want to buy something from Walmart. You can use Paypal as a payment method. If I select Paypal, will I be given the option of Pay Later under Paypal because under my Paypal Payment I don't see a Pay Later option to choose when just logging into Paypal.

Perhaps that option will show up when I go to Pay thru Walmart?

EDIT: Gave it a try at Walmart. Used Paypal as payment method and it didn't even open up Paypal so Pay in 4 not available there.

Does each person have their own list of stores that this deal works? I saw a bunch of stores (that I usually don't use) in my Rewards section. Are those the stores that are available to me to use with this deal?

Just tried it with some digital Nintendo games, pay in 4 can be chosen. Did you check if you had enough spending power in the app?

If you have a Chase Freedom Flex card don't forget to activate to earn 5% cash back from 12 / 1 / 25 through 12 / 31 / 25 for PayPal, on up to $1,500 in total combined purchases.

5% paypal is for Dec only.
It's been mentioned repeatedly you can't use Chase cards on this deal. You can't use when making the purchase OR to pay it offer early.

Discover works.

Same. This whole business has been super frustrating because these denials can seemingly occur for innocuous reasons. For example, mine occurred after switching which credit card I was using during the payment process despite both cards having been confirmed in my Paypal account for years. Other people apparently got denied after going in and out of the payment screen too many times. And people have also been screwed by merchants canceling an order, which happened to me with Staples. For some, this has been an incredible deal. For others, a bit of a frustrating nightmare.

I had Pay in 4 come back after unusual activity for Pay Monthly, but Pay Monthly never came back.

I then had 3 successful Pay in 4, but Pay Monthly never came back.

Then I had unusual activity happen for Pay in 4. And now I don't have that either of those Pay Later options. It's been a couple days.

It isn't letting you chose Chase cards.
Do WHAT!?! So this deal requires use of a debit card or use your bank acct as option to pay? I only have Chase credit cards.
