Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I got $10,000 credit and have done 3 purchases. All show points pending and verified.

Ebay, Walmart, and Mercari.
So are you using paypal credit? I only had the credit option with no interest for 6 months with my purchase. I signed up for the card and made the purchase hoping to save the 190 bucks on a 5080.

I hope everybody who uses this past the $1,250 get's there 20%, but its kinda clear on the offer terms page.

https://www.paypal.com/us/campaig...ffer-terms

How it Works: The Offer allows Eligible Participants to earn PayPal Rewards Points ("Points") equivalent to 5% cash back on one or more Eligible Purchases during the Offer Period up to $5,000 spent. Eligible Participant must save the Offer through the Invitation once and then successfully complete one (1) or more Eligible Purchases during the Offer Period. For each Eligible Purchase, each Eligible Participant will receive a maximum of 25000 Points, which can be redeemed for $250 cash or other options (the "Reward") per Eligible Purchase. Reward will no longer be earned once the Offer Period has ended. There is a maximum total of 1,500,000,000 Points available under this offer for all Eligible Participants who have saved the offer and made an Eligible Purchase. Rewards will no longer be available once this limit is reached. If the maximum total of Points available is reached before the end of the Offer Period, this offer will end early.
During the Special Offer Period, Eligible Participants will earn Points equivalent to 20% cash back on one or more Eligible Purchases up to $1,250 spent.

My pay in 4 loan was rejected at Samsung for existing balance too high. I paid off the other 2 (~100 each). How do I get it to reset for payment again?

Does this let payment via PayPal allow you to use AMEX offer as well? I have a car rental offer that I would like to use.

Its been 4+ days now since I've been blocked from using "pay in 4" due to "unusual activity", with no way to resolve the issue according to customer support. This is straight up bs, give me promo and the don't let me use it and also don't give me a reason either smh

I'm trying to buy a laptop for $1204 at Best Buy and on two accounts that I had this offer on and I got this message: "We regret that we are unable to approve your request at this time for the following reason:
  • Total balance on your outstanding Pay in 4 loans or the Pay in 4 loan amount you requested is too high."
Any ways around this? I don't have any pay in 4 active!

Your credit score isn't important unless you need a loan soon so who cares. Open credit cards constantly for SUBs

Someone did some calculations and posted a while ago. The amount of available points would be equivalent of $15 million. Sales would have to equate to $75 million dollars. Do you think people spent that much in this thing?

I would think they would just come out and say that they run out of points when they do. They want to promote this Payin4 or whatever, so pulling shenanigans like this will blow back in their faces.
75m is a lot. Cool someone did the math 👍🏼

Someone else mentioned that you need to sign out of paypal/remove the payment method from Walmart.

Then go to the checkout and click PayPal which should prompt you to sign in and should take you to a PayPal screen with pay in 4/pay later option.

I haven't tested it yet but I deleted PayPal from my Walmart thing earlier today because I'm going to try it later on tonight or tomorrow
