11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

Any ways around this? I don't have any pay in 4 active!I would think they would just come out and say that they run out of points when they do. They want to promote this Payin4 or whatever, so pulling shenanigans like this will blow back in their faces.
Then go to the checkout and click PayPal which should prompt you to sign in and should take you to a PayPal screen with pay in 4/pay later option.
I haven't tested it yet but I deleted PayPal from my Walmart thing earlier today because I'm going to try it later on tonight or tomorrow
