Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Is it possible to increase the limit? I was only approved for 1000. If you pay it off early would that reset the limit? Or would I lose points already earned?

Wondering if anyone has input on my situation.
I did pay in 4 for 3 transactions, totaling $351.13. All of them were done after saving the offer, and my initial limit that they showed for pay later was $1500.

When I look at my account activity, I see points pending for the 2nd and 3rd transactions. But not the first one. It doesn't say anything pending.
Also, I no longer have the Pay in 4 option available, even on the sites where I made the initial purchase.

Not sure if possible to increase the limit. If you pay it off it does reset but the amount of time varies, some people claim a few hours, some say a day or more. You do not lose points.

Am I correct that Best Buy is no longer approved? I don't see it on the drop down list anymore.

There is no payoff penalty so interest free like most loans if paid before 1st installment.
Are you sure about that?

any updates? I plan on getting using it for an apple purchase but Im always paranoid on cash backs.
Sorry for the delay in responding....You may have already gotten an answer, but yes, I have since received a pending points balance. In fact it says 29,659 points pending, which I thought the max would be 25,000 ? Maybe it gets adjusted or something later.

Yes, if you pay before the first due date, the days accruing interest is really small because APR is the "annual percentage rate" not daily. The key part is paying off the balance before interest accrues. If you choose a 12 month term and pay exactly the minimum amount, you will pay the principal + apr*. But if you pay principal early, very little interest will accrue.

Who's this a disaster for? Not sure how users unable to process the offer would be hurting the retailers unless they're the ones getting shafted with paying out the 20% CB

Called Paypal cause a ~$600 PI4 order got 0 points.

Paypal said it is up to the seller to give the points or not even if they accept the PI4 option!

WTF!!

How do you know the no of points ? Mine just says points pending
It shows on the activity tab.
My third purchase didn't show the no of points immediately, it just showed points pending. But later on that day it showed. I don't know why.

Did you check in your rewards tab? All my total points are in there
