Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Im just stating that its there and PP have the ability to see what is purchased. Whether or not people want to make those purchases now or had already is a gamble on if they will get the points. Also Whether you can make multiple cash back is also gray and a gamble.

How do we know if a merchant accepts this 20% offer? Offer detail says it's up to merchant. Zoro.com isn't a merchant????

Also was on the phone either them and they stated that prior to completing purchase, the PayPal window should show the cash back points you get PRIOR to completing purchase is this true?

You'll get denied eventually. After 8 pay in 4 orders, I got denied. My credit score is in the 850s

So I was able to only two 2 transactions, paid off the balance few days ago - still not reset to be able to do more.

Anyway to increase eligibility for these Pay in 4 transactions to do more?

Definitely. I got denied after 6 transactions like 4 days ago and the option to use pay in 4 has never come back. I'd love to be able to get more cashback, but if this is all I can get it's already the best deal in years.

don't know - nothing in the exclusions about that -- i dont think it should because you qualify at initial transction for Pay in 4 - now if you pay it off early shouldn't really impact in my opinion - but will see

Does this also do the same with debit cards? I wouldn't think it could, since it's effectively already accessing cash.

Anyone thinking to try this - Instead of paying off all the installments at once now, pay it using Chase Freedom with their Paypal 5% starting December 1st.

Paypal does provide option to change the card with which you want to pay the remaining installments.

Chase isn't an option for the Pay Later promo (or the first installment), so I would think it wouldn't work to make payments 2-4 either.
