Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I thought $250 back was the limit per account, which can only be earned on one purchase rather than across multiple.
Maybe it was $250 per transaction and not per account?

I see. So there are two ways to pay when paying later to make use of tthis 20% offer.
1. Pay in 4 installments (no interest or fees)
2. Pay later (monthly payments, that will have interest)

Why are some people using pay later instead of 4 installments?
Not everyone is getting the same offers or options either imposed by Paypal or eligible vendors. In my case, I was pre-approved with so didn't have to deal with some of the issues others have faced.

BTW, just got this notice today, which now limits its use to one Eligible Purchase per customer. In my case, I was able to use it for two Best Buy purchases, a Bambu Lab P2S and SONY PS5 before the limitation was imposed.

Limited to one Eligible Purchase per customer, up to a total of $1,250 in spend.

Check the account and see if your rewards are pending. According to the email, if you got in before, you are good.
Says 12,000 points but the email says " any purchases made before today " If someone can confirm if they purchase something now under the new terms what points show up.

Based on that, as long as the purchase was before today, multiple purchases should still be eligible for the advertised 20%, whether or not it was your first purchase.

well it was too good to be true I guess. Get to decide whether I want to. keep the $390 5070 or $600 5070ti both of which are crazy deals even if not optimal. Shame I got everything kinda figured out after it's too late.

Just received an email from PayPal that they changed the terms of the offer and it's now limited to only one purchase. Glad at least I was able to buy a NAS but bummed didn't get to make a second purchase, which I was planning to do today.

At least I learned to always check spending power and to never even attempt Paypal Checkout unless I can follow through because Paypal penalizes you for it. And that if you receive any kind of denial, you're probably done for the season. Next year if there's a promo I'll be better prepared.

When do we have to pay off by in order to avoid interest and still meet the terms? Can we do it immediately?
I see the first of 4 payments is already pending on my cc and the PayPal points are pending too.

Yes I paid mine immediately (to restore spending power) and my pending points are still there. People who did the previous 5% promo said it's fine.

If I added this offer and haven't used it yet, I'm still good to use it at least once right? I don't see it showing up in Paypal anywhere so just trying to confirm before I try it.
