Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I'm in the same boat. I got the same error but for a <$1000 purchase. My first time using PayPal Pay-in-4 and promos so this is disappointing
Super disappointing. It was what tipped me over the edge for this specific printer and I actually like the pay in 4 window as well. Sad.

Can we contact customer support or is it a lost cause?

Another potential success datapoint from someone who had used some of the deal prior to today. I had used right at $300 in two purchases previously. Just used the rest with Best Buy (the Bambu P2S and an air fryer). I initially tried to include some 4k Blu-ray but because it was shipped and sold by Gruv, Pay in 4 wasn't available. As soon as I removed them it was good. As soon as I submitted my order, the PayPal app rewards page switched the available deal to completed, and showed points pending with 20% about a minute later, the actual point value showed up! Still pending, but the right amount...almost.
Turns out I screwed up on one of my earlier orders. I cancelled an item from my target order, which obviously reduced the "loan" value. But it turns out my $250 point cap was based on that original value even though its already reduced! So the new Best Buy order was short by about $4 in points. Oh well. The other problem though is that Target order actually still doesn't show a point value, just the words points pending, even though I've already received the items. I wonder if it'll clear up when I pay off the total bill?
Anyway, hopefully they don't claw these points back so I'll can keep my printer!

any help with the bank?

It shows credit or debit card but it doesn't accept chase, amex, discover, sofi, wells fargo, capitalone credit card.

tried debit too from cash app, chase, sofi but all debit threw error "card rejected".

I tried to add direct bank account in my paypal with the hope I could pay via checkin or savings but tried 3 bank and it threw error "to contact them".

Haven't caught up on comments. If the offer doesn't show complete on the app I can do it one more time? Had done it two times for purchases totaling $400 or so prior

I just made a Best Buy purchase and it showed the 20% rewards points as pending after about a minute. Under rewards, I still see the "20% cash back on one Pay Later purchase with PayPal" with no completed badge like the others have gotten. I want to try another but it's pretty clearly stating that it is only on one purchase now.

The promo is showing on my wife's account as valid, but she got the email. Payin4 or monthly does not show if I try to make a purchase. Stupid.
Weird because the email encourages you keep doing the pay in 4 but just that the offer is complete.
You have to go under paypal credit and I know alot of people had trouble even several days ago with getting the pay in 4 to pop up on certain sites and mobile vs desktop.

Today, got my 3rd and final Pay4 plan executed today so I totaled $1100 which is about as close as I could get.

All 3 show pending points totaling $220, we'll see if they all finalize.

can you help me with info on what type of card/bank you used? paypal have rejected all my chase, amex, citi, capitalone, wells fargo credit card. they are now rejecting every payment method I add. I tried to connect my bank via paypal but paypal is still rejecting "no eligible card found in my account".
