Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I'm trying to buy a Bosch dishwasher at Lowe's. It's $1300+tax. Anyone knows why the Pay in 4 option doesn't appear when I do PayPal checkout?
I don't think Lowe's supports PayPal's BNPL feature. They have their own BNPL feature. Home Depot accepts the PayPal BNPL.

How do you check if the offer is marked complete on the app? I made a purchase 5 hours after the email yesterday and I can see the pending points. But wondering if I still have 1 more purchase left.
In the PayPal app, go to Rewards, and look at your list of offers. The 20% one will either be marked as completed or show 5 days-ish left. We don't know for sure if they'll honor the additional purchase, but the points do show up as pending.

" Limited to one Eligible Purchase per customer, up to a total of $1,250 in spend."
This is the current offer term.

did you use the paypal pay later option
I did. I actually found the pending rewards in the transaction details, not in the rewards section. Thanks for the reply though.

And this just shows that pending points are meaningless, since the new terms clealy state you can only get points for one purchase.
Just remember this folks before you set yourself for pain with purchases you don't really end up wanting. Paypal does this crap with promos all the time, and with dollar amounts WAY smaller than $250. The number of people they've screwed over on offers could stretch across the US if you lined them up side by side.

Because they changed it so that the offer gets marked completed after one more use, and people who were already over the $1250 limit were marked completed immediately. Plus the email already had a provision for previous multiple purchases to be allowed. It stands to reason that to be fair they allowed everyone to earn UP to the originally intended limit. Again, yes its possible they reverse decision, but literally every clue points to what we've seen being accurate. Additionally I spoke to customer service in between the email coming out and the later adjustment to the offer (where it re-appeared in the app with a new end date) and they said if the offer still shows, you can still claim. Not foolproof because we all know customer service tells people the wrong thing all the time...but more proof that you should chill out.
It is just really wrong when people like you post information that you have no idea is correct or not. Again, no one can say whether they will or will not approve points for more than one purchase but what we do know is the terms clearly say that they don't have to. You can assume what you want for yourself, but please don't post information that you don't if it is true or not as fact. Again, no one knows what paypal will do at the end and it should be left exactly as that - if someone wants to make multiple purchases, they may get the points at the end and they may not.

I predict a lot of mad people in a few months complaining here that they didn't get the points because they were clearly breaking the terms lol

Has anyone been able to apply this promo towards a switch 2 console purchase? I'm not seeing any pay later options via Target, GameStop, or Best Buy even though they all have paypal as a payment option. Pay in 4 and Pay Monthly both say "unavailable". I tried selecting various credit cards/bank account and that didn't make a difference either. Any help would be appreciated!

I've used the paypal deal earlier, but my account still shows the offer and doesn't say the offer is complete. Does that mean I have one more go at it?

Can someone chime in on this? Someone else claimed that they tried using this on a Samsung purchase for $1600, but the PayPal offer wouldn't apply. I thought it would apply for anything over $1250 but only qualify for max $250.

So the offer is still 20% but limited to one single purchase up to $1,250? In addition, how do we know if a merchant is a participating merchant of the offer?
