Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I used this for 6 different orders total of 26500 points posted as pending. I ordered another today and it seems the promo has expired (no longer see 20% promo page). I assume i bought before they change terms to limit only one order per customer. Hope all points will go through!
Do you see pending points?

Those who are buying on eBay, you don't need to remove Paypal from your eBay account. At checkout, just choose the Paypal option and when you sign into Paypal, you can choose the Pay in 4 option instead of your credit cards or PPL balance or those other payment plans. This is when I use the browser on my Mac computer.

I just did it and I immediately got two text notifications on my phone from the Paypal app:
1.You just paid a merchant on eBay
2.You have xxxx points pending
Didn't work for me. I chose the Paypal option and was never asked to sign on or choose options, it just completed the checkout as a one-time payment. I had to contact multiple sellers and request cancellations so I could start over. Disconnecting paypal from my ebay worked tho.

Lots of complaints about that when using it on Ali Expres, but it doesn't seem to be the case w/ other merchants. All 3 of mine coded as purchases.

I don;t allow nothing to go into my PayPal account without me signing it. Turn off the automatic choose my default payment and go ahead and pay for it option.

Offer saved to my account, but I'm not seeing the pay in 4 option when trying to check out at Apple. Any tricks?
Did you try apple.com on the desktop not app or mobile? I tested yesterday on desktop and the PI4 was blocked. I am not if apple blocked it or because I already used the option with Bestbuy.

I ordered iphone through Apple with Pay later (Pay in 4 option) - how much time it takes for points to appear in the Paypal account.
Click the 3 lines on the top left corner of your Paypal app and click Rewards. You should see your pending points. My in-law just did it and the points were pending. We bought things from Bestbuy.

I placed an Apple iphone order but realized it wont get shipped until Dec 5th. The Paypal offer expires Dec 2nd. It means my card wont be charged until then. I guess I need to cancel and re-order. I wonder if this offer will be valid?

If you make an ebay purchase from multiple sellers, will this count for the whole purchase or will it get broken up and the first thing that ships or processes is the thing that gets the 20% off?
I just did this. Got treated as one entire purchase. Points already pending for the entire amount

Which includes their own PayPal Mastercard, SMH.
I believe because they use a "dummy" back end paypal mastercard to fund all these transactions, probably some sort of conflict. Or maybe they don't want to have to pay you rewards on the transaction also.
