Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Received my points. They adjusted $500 worth down to $250, so I'm glad I didn't buy anything unnecessary. All my purchases were prior to the updated terms.

I'm about to return some stuff to Best Buy, thanks for the update!

I also got ~$450 worth of points adjusted down to $250. Everything was purchased on Nov 20, before they updated the terms.

Did all your points convert yet?
Good luck on getting a reply from that guy, looks like 2 other people commented on the same one you did and they never replied to any of them.

I had three orders total for ~$160 CB each. The first two were adjusted down to $250 total once confirmed, the third is still pending (the purchase was a few days later after the first two) but I expect it to get zero'd out.

How did CSR remove the pending auth? I am not getting any help on this. Any pointers
I read in this thread from others that they were able to get them removed by calling and speaking to a CSR. So I called and explained the situation - I told them I never actually completed a transaction, and that the pending authorizations were holding me up from completing an actual transaction. They immediately removed them, it only took a couple minutes.

If you can't get your CSR to do it, I'd try the "Hang Up Try Again" method, until you get someone who can/will help you.

I am sorry if this asked before, how long does it take for the points to appear on the account? I am buying a furniture from store where store price is $100 less than online price, but online I have ability to use paylater and save $200 instead, effectively $100 more.
Furniture would not be delivered for 3 weeks, am I taking risk by using paylater? Would I be able to see pending points immediately after the transaction? Thanks in advance.

The pay later functionality is severely borked. Here's my story:
I have an account from the year 2000. Never had issues. Credit Score over 860. Minimal Debt.
Tried to use this to buy a LG Monitor but I backed out because I wanted to modify the cart.
When I finally decided to go through with it, it declined me saying there was 'unusual activity'.
N.M. I waited a couple of days to see if it comes back but it did not. So, I made another account and that account also had the offer on it so I decided to proceed with the purchase.
This time it declined with too many active loans and/or too high of a loan amount.

Not simple to provide a concrete answer. It likely depends on how the invoice is presented to you.

The terms say that the sale cannot be "pending" at the end of the promo. So if they charge you a deposit amount and then finalize the invoice at delivery, you would likely only get points on the deposit. If they charge you in full at checkout, you should be good to go

I wanted to buy 4 tires at Walmart, but I didn't see this pay later at all. Does this work for Walmart? I only see applying PayPal credit only. Did anyone get this offer at Walmart?

Hit or miss on different accounts at different vendors. I believe some have gotten the go ahead at Wally

If you don't get it you could try going in sideways with a different browser, etc.

Bottom line if you get the offer you get it. If you don't, you're out of luck

Can I cancel the order if I don't get the cashback? Also if I happen to return the order later will the cashback stay?

I received the email from PayPal that said I had used all of my rewards, despite not being even close to the 25000 limit. I did a small purchase as a test to see if I'd get one more 20% rewards, given that it was still showing in my account, and it seems I didn't and won't. Not sure how others have gotten "one last" purchase to trigger the reward, but it definitely didn't work for me.

I made a purchase with PI4 on 11/29 for 500. The PI4 offer is still active in my PP and also the checkout page. I will roll the dice and try a second purchase. Thoughts ?

When paying multiple ebay sellers at checkout does it count as a single Paypal transaction?
It sadly does not
