11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

I placed 7 different Pay in 4 orders between Nov 18 and 24 with 7 different companies. Items included everything from gift cards to concert tickets to cruise excursions. The earliest 4 have all posted (which I've already converted to $ and transferred out), while the last 3 are still showing as points pending.
I was $171 short of the $1,250 in total spend and just did 1 more purchase for that exact amount to reach the $1,250 total spend level. Those points are already pending.
