I have suspected Lowes now has 3rd party sellers that they don't really disclose. It's possible it's just an online only item...but the low review count and being promoted/sold directly etc makes me wonder

Lowes does not carry vevor products in store, I would be willing to bet this is a marketplace item like you describe. HD does it too. The shipping time to store vs home being the same, as well as the number available being the same is also an indication these are not at any store.
