Does anyone have experience with this version? I have purchased the Compustar deal in the past. This is the first time I've seen this brand with this deal.

I have this system from a deal here a few years ago. It's amazing. Just make sure you pick your harness and tilt switch and check out with all of it at once. Go ahead and schedule an installation appointment at time of online checkout, if you call and schedule, it will not work out, I learned that the hard way.

Yes. I have both this one and the compustar 4905s. This one is far better than the Compustar. It come with 2 TWO WAY REMOTES instead of 1 two way and 1 one way remote from Compustar. It's has TWICE THE RANGE AS THE COMPUSTAR STARTER.FINALLY this is the cheapest I've seen it for a couple of years.I would highly recommend it .BTW. Compustar owns idatastart .I hope that helps

Anyone know how this works with push button start 2020-2021 tundras? Does it force kill the engine on door open?

I believe but only shuts down on PUSH TO START TOYOTA. I really don't think that should stop you from getting it. Just think of how many times you start your car anyway

Most Push Start will already have remote start. I want a solution that doesn't kill the engine. Why start it twice. Makes no sense. Most wear in an engine happens at start.

Then you need to find something else. As far as starting it more times. What do you do when you get out of the car now and get back in? Do you limit the number of times you start your car daily? Most people really only use the remote starter in the morning when going to work.

I hear ya. I just want it to work like. Every. Other. Manufacturer. Start remote. Then when you unlock get in it recognizes the key and off you go.

Then you need to talk to Toyota. It's their design that stops it from working. They won't release a take over for their cars. Many other Brands work with PTS

Will this work on a vehicle that takes a physical key (2021 base model Honda)? I really want keyless entry.

It should. ADD IT TO YOUR CART and put in your year and model in and it should tell you.

You know, I say keyless entry, but what I meant to say was keyless entry as in you walk up to the car and it unlocks. Is that what this kit has or do you need to press a button on the fob to unlock the vehicle?

You need to press the button on the remote.
