This is a decent deal. The only one cheaper I found was a used one on e bay without a warranty at $2,000. You just need to be able to live with a Core Ultra 9 285 processor (it does save electricity) and proprietary components. This wouldn't be ideal for a competitive gamer or overclocker, but it is a great desktop for most people.

why not a competitive gamer? seems at 1440 or 1080 that this processor should e 0 issues gaming alongside that 5080 and ram and Power Supply. if not this processor for competitive gaming what would u suggest?

I have this exact desktop, even exact same config. I have really enjoyed and it been very impressed. it is very quiet and runs everything I have attempted to play beautifully including most games at 4k. That said, between 10% coupon getting it from Dell, cash back sites, and 2 credit card offers, I paid <$1800 + tax. Even without the credit card offers it was comfortably under $2k. This is not a particularly good deal imo.

Because the best gaming CPU is AMD with 3D cache and everyone knows that

Yes, there is better available. That certainly does not mean this wouldn't be a great competitive gaming rig.
