Just so people know - this monitor is new at Sam's Club for $750. I saw it for $650 a few months back and regret not pulling the trigger then!

It is a good looking monitor. The panel protect is annoying, why can't it do while the computer is asleep?? It demands it at least once every 24 hours no exceptions, it just goes. The kvm is awful so I wouldn't count on that if you plan to use it.

Says anti reflective coating, I dont recall the one I saw setup at sams club being glossy either.

How is the reliability of this unit compared to the Samsung G9 family?

I don't see a way to do that. The options are auto and r 24 hour usage. 24 hours option gives you no option, auto warns you every 4 hours then goes if you didn't accept the earlier offer

I would not buy a glossy curved display unless you live in a cave.

I've bought one refurbished from eBay about 8 months ago and haven't had any issues. I had to update the firmware to get the panel protect to go to 24 hours, but maybe newer refurbished stock doesn't have that issue. You can trigger it manually from the app when you are getting up if you want...otherwise you might be waiting 5-10 mins for it to cycle (I have a 27" mounted directly above it so not really a big deal). I think the monitor's usb ports turn off when it's asleep so you might not want to count on them waking the PC up. I wasn't able to dial in the colors the way I wanted them when I first set it up and haven't really tried again. Overall I'm pleased though and would definitely recommend it to any gamer...you'll actually get upset when games don't support ultrawide, lol.

it has a glossy finish but with an effective anti-reflective coating.

Anyway to get extended warranty on this? Woot shows this has 60 days warranty while the brand new one comes with 3 years.
