Almost never used my 7 1/4 inch. Also you should probably go corded if are using a 7 1/4 saw

I don't know much about these things, and I'm wondering why you want to use a corded one with a 7 1/4-inch diameter? Is it because of power needs?

Tangentially, has the 6.5 brushless been cheaper than $100? I feel like $20 is not much of a sale. The craftsman is also $99… but I have 4ah Ryobi batteries and only 2ab craftsman.

It's generic. According to the description "Vacuum port allows for cleaner work area with included vacuum dust adaptor that accepts 1-1/4" - 1-7/8" hoses"

Wouldn't you go with bigger 7 1/4 blade as opposed to smaller 6 1/2 blade. You can cut thicker boards with bigger blade.

I scored the 7 1/4 inch circular saw tool kit with a 4 Ah HP battery for $119 on clearance from a HD three weeks ago. On the box it claims to be the most powerful 7 1/2 " cordless saw. I think it is pretty hard to find the same package again. I used the saw with the standard 18v battery, and it had plenty of power. I can make good use of the 7 1/4 blades for my regular Skil saw without buying new blades.
