3. Insert 3 AA batteries as indicated in diagram below. Make sure the batteries are inserted in the correct direction and polarity.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS This battery-operated control box comes with a pre-set timer function. 1. When you press ON, the lights will automatically come on and stay lit for 6 hours. 2. The lights will automatically turn off after 6 hours and remain off for 18 hours. This cycle will then continue until you press OFF.

anyone know how many days this will last with one set of batterries?

You could easily make this a 420-themed tree...remove the pesky pine cones and berries and add some orange threads or similar and you could have your own frosty Christmas weed nug! Super festive!

You would need to first know the power draw of the lights and the capacity of the batteries you choose.

Take the power consumption of the lights, multiply it by 6. That answer will be the daily power consumption. Take that number and divide it into the total capacity of the batteries and that answer will be the number of days it will last.

The one we got last year (not this same brand, but a 2' tree with the same lighting functionality) lasted from a couple of days after Thanksgiving all the way through a couple days after New Years without replacing them. Took the batteries out when we packed it up so the batteries wouldnt get corroded. We used regular Energizer last year, but will be using Amazon rechargeables this year.

I haven't experienced much of any of the flocking falling off. It's firmly attached.
