I'm thinking about buying one and using it to power 4 dashcams for 24hr surveillance. I want to keep all of it in a Yakima pod on top of my car. Would a solar panel work to recharge this battery? If so, what else would I need? Thanks.

Yup, pretty much this. For smaller vans/conversions. Larger one profit from the 280Ah versions.

Exactly! Good catch. To anyone considering this as a car/truck battery, compare this battery's 100A output current to the CCA rating of your typical lead acid battery which is probably 400A+.

Powerwise it would work okay in a Toyota Prius. I know I used a small 8ah Lifepo4 battery to jumpstart my Prius when I had left something on to drain the battery.

Even on my camper, I have 2x 6V golf cart batteries wired in series and are rated for over 200Ah each. I would need 8 of these lithium batteries to have the same capacity.... doesn't matter though. I live in the desert were temps over 105f are quite common. A lithium battery wouldn't last 2 years with those temperatures.
