How is it compare to Blink doorbell ? I'm using Blink and i can't answer doorbell over phone to do 2 way talk, it freezes all time. Looking for doorbell without any subscription and can store the data locally, pls suggest

Eufy does not require a subscription. But if you want recorded video you'll need the home base. That is like a local storage that works on your Wi-Fi network.

This is the best video I've seen on video doorbell reviews! https://youtu.be/j0GZKXWf3vg?si=q3Tk6VMQAPfGRLw6

No, Eufy is the one company that does not requite a subscription. I've swapped all my smart home stuff to Eufy for this reason

THe bottom camera is a great upgrade. I only have the single camera and can never see if packages are on the ground at the door.

It has some local storage, enough to store several days of events. The chime can be used as a mini home base with addition of sd card. If you want storage for continuous recording youll need a home base tho.

I had the single camera doorbell for over two years. It worked really well for the first six months.
Afterwards I would get nonstop false motion notifications. I would get zero motion notifications of visitors or package drop off. It would only work if the bell button was pressed.

I don't get why it's so bad, my indoor Eufy camera motion detection works great.

I swapped it with Reolink doorbell camera and so far so good. Camera quality isn't as good but it seems to be much more reliable.

I had a single-camera Eufy doorbell and swapped it with this one with a prior deal for included LED lamps. In both cases, talking through the doorbell is laggy, but I just got it to see who is there.

The second camera is really nice. I've found that to be super helpful in showing me if there's a package there that otherwise would be out of the camera range.

Also very nice is the swappable battery. With the old camera, I had to bring it inside and take a couple of hours to recharge it. With this one, I keep a second battery charged and the swap-out is real easy. Takes seconds instead of hours, which is further helped by the camera's mounting release pin being located on the top of the camera instead of the bottom, which was a PITA to get a pin into when it was sunny out because you have to look up into the bottom of it. The battery itself has a USB-C plug for charging.

E340 uses the power battery even it is wired that why it is lagging. Wiring only triggers charge the battery. The wired old S330 does not have lagging or false detection.

Tapo's the same. They have optional subscriptions, but you have the ability to add SD cards as local storage so it's unnecessary.
