Amazon [amazon.com] has KRK RP8G5 8 Generation Five 8" Powered Studio Monitor for $183.20. Lowest price ever says camels. I paid way more a few weeks ago. I wish I waited. What's crazy is the price for the 8" is almost the same as the 5". If you don't know whether this is a good price, you probably don't need it.

My KRK Rokit 5's kicked the bucket 3 or 4 months ago after using them since 2010 so I replaced them w/ Edifier MR4's, but they don't compare to the Rokit's though, smh. At $183, I was really hoping this deal included a pair of speakers, but of course, that was wishful thinking.

Out of my dual speaker combo, the one I would have on the left, the audio would go in and out and w/ the other one, it would emit a minor buzzing sound in the background which become annoying after a while. Idk if it was b/c I left them both on all of the time which could've contributed to its wear and tear, but I wasn't disappointed over the misfortune since I was able to use them for damn near 15 years so I def got my money's worth out of them.
