this thing is so crappy that it has higher latency than the previous generation nest wifi, actual experience.

this only has 1GbE ports according to listing - so - not going to be too useful for 10Gbps fiber even on wired.

Bought it. Thank you.
Was in the market for this.
Recently switched to 10 gig fiber that's cheaper per month than the cable ISP I had and didn't want to drop over $500 for a more capable mesh router. For $100 I'll be more than happy to double my speeds coming from the 2020 Nest Wifi.

Great price, but I think I'd rather spend more on a better product

My netgear nighthawk r6700 router since 2020 has had issue with coverage and my blink cameras. Worth a try to upgrade and good reviews it seems compared to other recent deals on mesh systems. Also got extra 20% cashback using paypal

Literally one of the only routers I've ever bought where I regretted the purchase. Awful wireless mesh performance (because they only use 6Ghz for mesh backhaul, rather than 5Ghz like the previous generation, each access point has to be much closer together and is more negatively impacted by walls and doors). I experience frequent mesh disconnects and my wireless speeds are 30% of normal in far areas of my house. (These are well documented issues on google's forums and reddit)
Also, they only have gigabit Ethernet ports so if you're buying these with a gigabit+ internet plan, you're limiting your entire network's speed right from the modem.
I ended up giving these away and buying a Ubiquiti Dream Router 7 - I would also take a look at Eero.

TP Link blows this away. I've used both.
Also you don't have to worry about TP LINK bricking your device... Like Google did with the previous gen.

Here is my ping from google just now
Minimum = 20ms, Maximum = 22ms, Average = 21ms
I have had it for almost a year and 40 connected items and nothing lags, ever.
