For 3D printer newbies. You need NOTHING else from Bambu labs. You can buy way cheaper filaments from Aliexpress with the comparable quality. I would recommend getting a 10 pack multi-color filaments liket his deal which should cost you ~$6 per 1Kg.

My son had been begging us to get him a 3d printer. Went from $200 A1 mini from his own pocket to dad jumping in on this action 😅. Let the random printing begin

A couple recommended items for new 3D print users.

3D model burr cleanup tool set and hotend cleaner:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS6MLCWK

Jewelers pliers set for cleaning up models and removing supports.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ58BWJ

Air tight (waterproof) sealed container drybox for filament storage:
https://www.menards.com/main/stor...-12667.htm

Rechargeable Eva-Dry Dessicant for drybox:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eva-D.../202847325

PETG is more durable than using PLA but also absorbs moisture more quickly. Most filaments recommend drying before printing. Once the filament is dry you can store filament in a drybox and you don't have to dry it again for the next printing.

Is this a good pilot unit for someone who has no idea of 3d printing but is very tech savvy and wants to explore it as a hobby?

Does anyone know if the dollar limit applies to the original price, or the amount you would pay via paypal? In this instance I'm thinking about if you use gift cards on something over the limit, for example an H2D and then drop the paypal amount to $1000 or whatnot.

Additionally, can you choose pay later, get your points, and then pay early?

Awesome! Been waiting for this. I just ordered from Best Buy, got the 20% off with paypal, free overnight shipping so I get it tomorrow and get holiday return/60 day return price match with total membership... Local return etc. I am returning my x1 carbon I purchased from best buy for $799 today. This is a GREAT deal for sure!!! Paypal instantly showed the points pending.

No one mentioned, so update post to show Bambu Lab P2S AMS Combo 3D Printer Gray P2S AMS Combo - Best Buy

In for 1! There is also a big markdown on filament with spools if you order with a printer they drop from $22 to $12. I ended up getting 4 spools of matte filament and the printer which gave me ~$185 in rewards back.

Ordered the combo and 10 spools of filament. The points showed up as pending in Paypal right away. After the Paypal cashback, the filaments are about $10 each, great deal!

Yes, I had no idea and it is pretty easy with the bambu technology. They have a phone app, computer app, and online website of models to download and just print.

This deal works in Best Buy, too!
I had a $50 Best Buy gift card from recent Best Buy deal, which make this a better deal!

Yes, even easier than p1s due to easier nozzle changes

Last time I ordered, they gave me 3 x 0.5kg spools of white, orange, and green. Edit: P2S doesn't come with any sample filaments like the P1S did.

It's interest free and autopay, so might as well just do the 4 payments
