careful on this one. The actual link is for the 1500 watt model. the 2000watt is $1500. It changes depending on what options you click. So, the header on this post is not the same model as the sale.

That's a pretty cheap little motorcycle. Too bad it's somewhere between a pain and impossible to get it registered or acquire insurance. And don't forget to get a valid motorcycle driver's license.

If it went less than 30mph it could be a moped, which would avoid most of that, or if it was under 28mph it could be an ebike. But 37mph is notably above the 30mph motorcycle threshold.

Too bad you don't live in King County in Washington the county that Seattle is in. This county had the whole Defund Police thing and now it's lawless. People ride quads and dirt bikes with no license on the streets around here. Cars have no license plates. Cars run red lights. It's totally safe around here! JK All I'm getting at is it depends on the area, you could ride one of these around here with zero stress.

Weird. I don't think if that were the case I would feel safe on a cheap motorcycle that cant get to highway speeds.

Its also weird because crime in Seattle is down in all categories compared to 2024 and has trended downward for the last 3 years. (https://visitseattle.org/meeting-...ty%20crime.)

Police do seem to respond to traffic issues, e.g. during the rain last week they responded to like 50 vehicle issues in one day before noon. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRYXKZw1aBM)
Which is a lot, but Seattle makes the top 5 list for cities with worst traffic congestion in America.

Which is to say, an anecdote is a datum but not data.

Beware of corrupt govt organizations that provide self reported data. Govt agencies who provide their own data to back up their performance often will manipulate that data to seem more effective than they are. There have been calls of corruption for years in the Seattle Police department.

Based on the recent web searches, there appears to be evidence suggesting discrepancies between civilian news reporting in Seattle and the actual data submitted by the Seattle Metro Police Department (SPD). Several articles and discussions point towards issues with transparency, officer conduct, and the handling of public safety responses.Key Points from Recent ReportsInternal Frustrations and Alleged Subversion: An October 2025 article details frustration within Seattle's new police alternative programs like CARE due to perceived obstruction by police officers, which impacts response reports and community safety initiatives.Response and

Dispatching Practices: Discussions reveal that dispatchers and police officers have significant discretion, often causing delays or cancellations of responses, which might contribute to discrepancies between official reports and actual response activity. Police Response Challenges: Issues such as staffing shortages, officer union negotiations, and internal policies influence the observed response patterns and reporting transparency.

External Oversight and Trust Issues: Although Seattle recently exited federal oversight, critics call for independent police accountability, indicating ongoing concerns about data accuracy and transparency in reporting public safety metrics.

Summary: While police submit official data regularly, internal and external reports suggest that actual response activities may not align fully with those records, due to factors like internal obstruction, staffing issues, or response cancellations by officers. Additionally, the perception of trustworthiness in media reports and official public safety data remains contested, with ongoing debates about transparency and accountability.

Instead of trusting an AI breakdown pushing the official propaganda try speaking to people in the town. Propaganda exists on all sides.

Or you could just ride it. Because who gives a sh*t?
