For those wondering: the 2021 Kindle Paperwhite is the best one they made to date. USB-C, largest memory, great resolution, etc.

The new ones are probably the worst they've made.

Most of the Kindle e-readers are black and white. If you want color, you can either go for the Kindle Colorsoft, which is an e ink screen that will be easiest on your eyesight and over $200; or one of the Kindle fire HD models, which are full color led screen tablets (so a little harder on the eyes for long periods of reading) and a bit chunkier/heavier.
