Still available at Walmart.com, but low stock listed.

From researching this online, I think this model of PNY card has an issue with defective grinding/hissing fans.

Same here mate...sitting on my EVGA 3080 FTW but I got lucky and ended up with the 12GB version. I spent $900 because mine is the HydroCopper version (waterblocked), so upgrading REALLY has to be worth it to me and 5070ti just isn't it (yet).

I would use the card merely to save power, otherwise I don't care to upgrade until we get that huge gain at the 80-class cards but I think those days are long gone...

seen a few reviews with this issue, might be just a bad batch in early production. amazon if pretty good for returns and it's extended into jan 31 2026.

Yeah, I had one in my cart at the $699 price so I went ahead and took a chance and ordered it. We'll see how it works out, as I wanted the 5070TI over the 9070XT for local AI stuff.

This is still available (with low stock) at Walmart.com. For those with local Walmart stores with stock, it is also available for ordering for same day local pickup at those local stores.

Well they are available for me to pick one up locally.

EDIT - Done ordered it up. Going into a new PC for my son who needs it for architecture grad school. Working on a 3060Ti now. Works ok but needs more compute power and memory/storage for the more advanced models.

I was also worried about this after reading reviews of this card but I just hooked mine up and no issues at all with the fan noise. I used their VelocityX software to adjust fan speed and it's quieter than my 3070 Ti I was using.

Check in-store first for returned ones up to $220 cheaper. If get lucky might be heavy discounted 5080/5090 from online return. Someone got PNY 5080 for $413
