Totally different thing. If you want to watch on Prime, you have buy it on Prime Video. Amazon sometimes has a cheap rate for 2-3 months, and I wouldn't be surprised if they do a sale on monthly channel subscriptions by around Christmas if not BF. But I don't think I've ever seen a deal on an annual subscription bought through Amazon.

The Hallmark Template:

Successful big City person goes back home to their small town for the holidays and meets the charming person next door. They fall in love. The big City person decides to give up the high paying but stressful job to be with the soul mate in the tiny town. The end. I just saved you $40.

Will this work for people who have subscriptions already and if so, how do you do it?

I used a similar promotion (or maybe even the same one) to buy a subscription about six weeks ago. A nice perk to the subscription is that it also gives you $5/month to spend in a Hallmark store, a free card in the store (from a limited selection) and a free online custom card. These benefits reset each month. I used to have Hallmark+ through Prime, but switched to this and am glad I did.

This is a good point. I never go into the Hallmark store, but I plan to at some point, to at least get my free card now and then. There's supposed to be a new member gift and an ornament, but coupons for those have not shown up in my account. I'm not too bothered, still a good deal.

I haven't heard of the free ornament, but I did get the new member gift. It was a cardboard box that could serve as a greeting card holder/organizer. Inside, it had four cards - IIRC, there was a birthday one, a congratulations one, and two blank ones. Good Hallmark quality cards with special flourishes, etc.

Yes, I wouldn't mind having that and didn't get it! Maybe it's because I had a membership in the past that I didn't get the offer now, maybe it's just the first time you have a membership. I probably didn't know about the free offers then and probably didn't check. The ornament isn't one of their cool ones, very basic, so I'm not bothered about not getting that.

great american family is where you get garbage like that now. Hallmark has moved on from that for the most part since bill abbott left

So what then does Hallmark offer? I just cut the cord after endless years of cable but the only time I as a male put on any of their networks, it was to watch Murder She Wrote reruns. If there was a store near my home, just for the cards and monthly discount it could be worthwhile but I'll pass.
