Could you please comment on how long the smaller one keeps food hot? It says 10 hrs, while larger one says 15 hrs. I wonder why such huge difference, and if it's true or they just changed how it's measured. Thanks in advance!

My normal routine, I bottle" my food around 6pm fresh out of the oven/crockpot/stove, around 1am is when I take my lunch" and the food is still almost mouth hurting hot. My guess the bigger the container, more insulation? I mean even the bottles keeps my coffee fresh out the pot hot.

Surface area to volume ratio. A bigger container will generally have a lower surface area to volume (the more food that isn't touching a wall the longer it will hold).
Its the same reason why a balled up towel drys slower than one laid flat, or why you naturally try to curl into a ball when cold, etc.

Thanks! I assumed the difference could be 1-2 hrs, as is usually the case with insulated bottles, but didn't expect 5 hrs (50% improvement)

Yeah keeping beverages cold is much easier than keeping food hot, which is also part of it.
Pro tip, make sure you fill the canister with boiling (or near boiling) water before packing with food. If you preheat the inner metal surfaces it hold temperature much much longer. I've done this with my rtic food canister for years.
