Kingroon PETG is a strong, reliable filament for functional prints that need more toughness than PLA. The community feedback points to good results on a wide range of printers, including Bambu and Flashforge machines, with presets and normal PETG tuning helping dial it in. PETG is also described as fine for indoor printing and less brittle than PLA. The main cautions are that some 10 pack batches have printed poorly, and AliExpress coupon codes and payment handling can be inconsistent. A practical pick if you want bulk PETG and are willing to tune settings.
Common Questions (5)
Not reliably. The listed code RDLFN10 was reported as dead, while alternative AliExpress codes like USKK10 and RDLFP10 worked for some shoppers.
It should work on both printers, but PETG may need tuning for temperature, speed, and other settings. A Bambu Studio preset for Kingroon filaments is also available and can help dial it in.
They can if the purchase is processed through PayPal as a credit-card transaction, which may code as a cash advance and incur fees and immediate interest. Some AliExpress purchases also post normally, so it is worth checking how your card issuer coded the charge.
Yes. PETG is stronger and less brittle than PLA, making it a better choice for functional parts instead of decorative trinkets. It also prints indoors and usually just needs a slightly higher nozzle temperature than PLA.
PETG is generally considered food-safe as a material, but 3D-printed parts are not automatically food-safe because layer lines can trap residue and manufacturing additives are unknown. Coating may help, but many users avoid using it for food-contact items.

Just fyi, I recently bought a FlashForge AD5X printer.

It's safe around kids, but 3d printed stuff is never "food safe" unless you coat it in something since the layer lines will inherently let stuff grow in there. I've had good luck with cookie cutters and stuff though. As long as it's more of a one-time thing, and you are ok with the extra micro-plastics in your diet.
