I've bought this filament before and it works great. I would caution people that AliExpress is reporting transactions as Cash Advances which incur a fee and immediate high interest with most cards. This happened on my recent purchase using a Citi Card on PayPal. There's a giant Reddit discussion about it.

Thanks! I've had good luck with Kingroon and I do like the PETG for items that need to be stronger than PLA plastic.

great deal, if I didn't already have a huge stash of this already, I'd jump. Really, about 95% of what I print is Kingroon PETG, with good results.

I just ordered some filament (not this deal) from AE yesterday, and it posted as a normal credit transaction (NOT a cash advance) on my Chase card. Seems like you should contact your card issuer to get it corrected.

It appears that it's only happening when using your credit card through PayPal to purchase from Aliexpress.

I'm new to 3D printing and would appreciate some advice. Is PETG safe to print indoors, and is it safe to use it around kids and food? I've read online that PLA is better than PETG, and that PETG requires many printer settings to be changed. Is this true?
Just fyi, I recently bought a FlashForge AD5X printer.

Petg is safe to print indoors, it is known to be stronger, or less brittle than pla, so it is great for functional parts that aren't just trinkets. You have to bump up the temp a little bit on your printer, but your slicer should help you with that.
It's safe around kids, but 3d printed stuff is never "food safe" unless you coat it in something since the layer lines will inherently let stuff grow in there. I've had good luck with cookie cutters and stuff though. As long as it's more of a one-time thing, and you are ok with the extra micro-plastics in your diet.

I did the Paypal pay in 4 yesterday on this deal and the first payment posted properly on my Citi AA card. Hopefully it is corrected now. What a pain to deal with. I'd probably dispute the charge if I got too fed up with the finger pointing.
